An evaluation report for Dreamwall’s Time Out programme, which had two core aims: to improve placement stability by providing carers with planned breaks from their fostering responsibilities and to reduce the financial burden of respite care for Southampton City Council (SCC) by decreasing the number of requests for respite at ‘crisis’ points.
