This project set out to assess and demonstrate the value of the sport for development sector and to identify how to increase the effectiveness of delivery across a range of social policy areas. We believe we achieved these aims through identifying the types of organisation and delivery models associated with effective practice across seven social policy areas. As well as helping to inform sported.’s guidance to their Members and other sport for development projects, this has also helped to define the creation of a sustainable model to both forecast and measure project and sector wide impacts whilst revealing limitations in existing delivery profiles called Sportworks.
