Yes, we’re asking you. How ready are you to move ‘Towards an Active Nation’?

In releasing the ‘Towards an Active Nation’ strategy earlier this year, Sport England broadcast the vision for their funding programmes to the sports sector and how these will be delivered, measured and managed.

These ambitious plans, focussing on tackling inactivity in specific communities whilst continuing to support those who are already maintaining an active lifestyle, made commitments to support underrepresented groups and invest in place based programmes.

We at Substance recognise the impact that such expectations will undoubtedly have on sport delivery. Our unique position within the sector allows us to support any organisation grappling with this new approach. We want to work with our current delivery partners, as well as the wider sports sector to share our understanding of how we can take on these new challenges with confidence.
